Sir can you please help, I was banned for 2 months because I was falsely accused of being modrago/sockpuppet, a report came back that I was not modrago, here is the evidence that I was falely accused and banned for over 2 months http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_checkuser/Case/Mondrago today I stated my case and I was banned until October by KnowledgeOfSelf after I made this post, that was now deleted. (Now I am falsely banned again until October) This is a battle over 2 era of ASIA, and my actions today got the officail Myspace link rightfully reinstated, however, the authorized fan club is still blacklisted. This was the post I made there that was deleted, they wish not the public to see the truth. " They may look for a crazy reason to ban me again, lock this page again, or will ignore the issue I raised. We are waiting for a resonse HU12, why is JP's official myspace page valid in JP's wiki page, but ASIA's official my space page not valid on ASIA's wiki page, please respond. I was charged with a bunch of false charges that I responded to, "officially" falsely accused of being modrago/sockpuppet, so I was falsely banned, my link falsely banned & blacklisted with NO clear wiki policy evidence as to why it was banned & blacklisted, falsely accused of self promotion when we are an official non profit organization, falsely accused of COL, COL is Citing oneself, Financial, Legal antagonists, Self-promotion, (the ASIA Fan club does not promote the private or commercial interests of the editor) & it is not promote otherwise obscure individuals by pointing to their personal pages. Falsely accused of SPAM. I was readding a long time link that has no wiki policy justification as to why it was removed, I did not adding anything. Bondegezou broke down the wiki extenal links policy and stated the "except" clause as to why the asia fan club was rightfully listed, the same way hu12 used the "except" clause as to why the official JP myspace page should be listed on JP's wiki page. I am here talking about the facts in an adult type manner, please respond. I remind you all that locking this page for 2 months does not count or qualify this issue as an old or beaten to death one, comments were banned, or limited to grandfathered users, & IP's were banned from commenting on this issue, so this issue was suspended untill all bans were lifted.70.188.184.84 (talk) 13:41, 12 April 2008 (UTC)AP" This was at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Asia_%28band%29 I am posting from an alternative adress, my ISP that is banned is 70.188.184.84 (please lift ban) Please read what has been going on there at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Asia_%28band%29 and please judge it fairly, please stop this conspiresy and please lift my ban. Allrounder
Sourav Ganguly has 167 wickets in nearly 410 matches. However what you need to see is he does not bowl very often. If you consider the number of overs bowled and the number of wickets taken, then you might find he is not far away from players are jacques kallis who is a genuine allrounder. So don't you think his role should be an allrounder in the Knight Riders Team? CSumit (talk) 09:05, 16 March 2008 (UTC) Sumit
- Oh I think that people are calculate on how regularly they take wickets. If they are not used regularly, then they aren't really required or seen as an all rounder by the captain. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 06:38, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Blnguyen — thank you for your offer to help with the MSU Vietnam Group article. I'd greatly appreciate any edits or suggestions you can think of, since FA is always a goal. One thing I'm hoping to add is a picture of Diem and Fishel together, preferably one taken by a US government employee so it's public domain; otherwise, since they're both deceased it might be possible to use another source with a non-free rationale. Renaming Punjab Kings
The official team name of the Mohali Twenty20 franchise of the IPL is Kings XI Punjab. However a page of that name redirects to Mohali Twenty20 franchise and another page of the name Punjab Kings exists. I recently updated the Punjab Kings page and tried to rename it to Kings XI Punjab, but it did not work. Could you remove the Mohali Twenty20 franchise page and rename the Punjab Kings page to Kings XI page (since two different pages about the same team exists)? Thank You. CSumit (talk) 07:13, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- Errm Ím confused. Was there an agreement on the names? Blnguyen (bananabucket) 07:19, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
- There wasnt any agreement on names. Just that two separate pages exist for the same topic. Also, the page that represents the Mohali Twenty20 franchise should be named after the official team name (Kings XI Punjab). When I tried to rename Punjab Kings as Kings XI Punjab it resulted in an error saying a page of that name already exists. I think you would need to first delete the Kings XI Punjab page and rename Punjab Kings as Kings XI Punjab. Ofcourse, the Mohali Twenty20 franchise page should be removed completely.CSumit (talk) 08:29, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Years in Australia
See User:Moondyne/Years in Australia categories. My concern is the categories like Category:Swimmers at the 1956 Summer Olympics, Category:Swimmers at the 2000 Summer Olympics and Category:Swimmers at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Tagging the categories is fine, but is it not drawing a long bow to tag every article within these with {{WP Australia}}? For example, George Breen who is an American swimmer, and won one silver and two bronze at the 1965 Olympics.
I can take these out manually if you like. Let me know. —Moondyne click! 06:46, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

Kannada literature
Sir, I want to bring up an issue that has been dogging this article for some time now. In the section titled "Early attestations", I have put together information from 9 different sources (and can easily find 9 more if required). This information deals with the pre-9th century literary activities in Kannada; poets, writers and some of their known works in the Kannada language. Two users, Fowler and Aadal have been on a never ending debate over this issue, regarding the existance of earlier Kannada literature or not, while they themselves have brought out sources and cut and paste everything to validate that literature did exist. At the same time, both have shown a tendency to try and eliminate it. This is historically important information. At one time I hade some 7 or 8 citations per critical statement in that section but reduced it at reviewer request on the FAC. I am requesting that such historically valuable and verifyable information be preserved for the sake of history and wikipedia. I request that any attempt to tamper with this information in a way that distorts or removes valuable info be dealth with firmly. the article will go for re-nom after copy edits.thank you.Dineshkannambadi (talk) 03:33, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. I don't see how this bluster will help. You can't keep producing references from 1897 and 1921 when the standards of textual exegesis were not as rigorous as they are today or local authors from Karnataka that no one has heard of. It is very clear that modern experts think Kannada literature began in the ninth century. See:

- (The Nagaraja reference is available on Google Books, and Krishnamurti (2003) and Steever (1998) are searchable on Amazon.) For better or worse, Kannada's literature is a vernacular literature, which, like other vernacular (local) literatures in India and Southeast Asia (that had earlier employed the trans-local languages of Sanskrit or Tamil) got its start towards the end of the first millennium CE. Other languages in India like Telegu, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, etc. and others in more distance places like Newari (Nepal) and Khmer (Cambodia), all show similar developments. Pollock (2007) is very clear on this: see here. If there is any doubt about this, I am happy to request any or all of the experts: Colin P. Masica, Sheldon Pollock, Vinay Dharwaker, or Prithvi Datta Chandra Shobhi weigh in on this question. Or, if you'd like a Wikipedia mediation, I'm happy to have my references go up against yours. question
Is it possible for me to get a name change without it being publicized. I am being stalked and if I attempt to do so in a normal way, that person will immediately know. –Mattisse (Talk) 21:16, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
- Well, it will always show up in the log because someone has to move your contributions. So you can request it behind closed doors to a bureaucrat, but anyone can just look at the rename log and see it. Of course you can just jump ship and start a new account. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 01:49, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Or preferrably (as you shouldn't jump ship), you can get someone in a sufficient level of authority (even through AN/I) to tell the harassing editor to leave you (and your talk page) alone - but it works both ways. Ncmvocalist (talk) 18:55, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Multiple FACs
Hey, Blnguyen, just promoted one. By the way, you put up four noms in a week, which makes it hard for me to enforce the multiple nom clause on other nominators ("Users should not add a second FA nomination until the first has gained support and reviewers' concerns have been substantially addressed.") Maybe waiting until previous noms have at least a plus two in the Support column before adding a new FAC would be a good guideline for the future? All the best, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:21, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Hi Blnny. Ugh, I hate FAR, so destructive, though I see its necessity. Came here with a suggestion. When we've both finished our current FAC/FLCs, and I'm back from some offwiki time, we join forces on polishing off Bradman's article to get it to FA and on the main page in time for the centenary of his birth in August. I did some work on it last year and don't think it's too shabby actually. I'll ask TRM too. I'll be ready to start towards the end of this month. Respectfully, I don't think you should have carried out this checkuser request. I read the request in detail but there isn't anything in the request that indicates any kind of abuse. The IPs in question haven't even participated in any AFDs for months, no evidence at all was given with respect to the third IP address. At worst, the use of multiple accounts might make it look as if one user PROD'ed an article while another nominated it for deletion, instead of one user, but no disruption of the debate was asserted. I've looked through Henrik's AfD contributions, and none of them have any suspicious anon comments. There was one incident of both being used for reverting in an article, but not in violation of 3RR, and it was over two years ago. So this just seems like an invasion of privacy to me. In retrospect, do you agree? Mangojuicetalk 19:50, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello, Blnguyen, there is a new article on a Chinese athlete Jin Jing. We want to push this article onto the "Did you know" on the main page. Could you give us some comments on the talk page of that article? How should we improve that article? If it's a good one, could you please help us put this article onto the "Did you know"? Craig
Re your request: my suggestion is simply to edit down the section a lot, such as removing the ref to Lindwall and make only passing mention of Benaud (in relation to him taking over from Craig), but focus on the relationship with Harvey, whose support avoided the disharmony of the Johnson-Miller relationship. You don't need to mention voting & internal Board machinations etc. Benaud is like Bradman: he casts a long shadow over his contemporaries, but only luck got him the job, while Harvey was very unlucky (possibly accounts for his negative outbursts?) Robinson is an excellent source (although sometimes his stats are a little dodgy or out of date as he died in 1982, so always double check) - you know my opinion of Perry. I am keen on the FT of Aus capts, so I think Robinson is the best source for this and I think you need to have it. All writers on Aus cricket lift stuff from his writings, I see it everywhere. If there is a specific thing you want to include, contact me & I'll find a ref if you don't have one. Simpson's new book is available at google books. O'Reilly on Benaud: "Tiger - 60 Years of Cricket", Collins, Sydney 1985. ISBN 0 00 217477 4. p 154. BTW, the National Archives has a couple of images of Craig that you can get if you email them to allow GFDL, they are usually amenable: as you know, I have done it myself.
Bradman? Well, old chap, you know I've tried! I spent a lot of time researching, sourcing pix, writing, then later chopping it down trying to get it to FA when suddenly everyone abandoned the project. The biggest thing is fitting everything in to an acceptable size without losing any of the important stuff. I consider his off-field activities as important as his runs, so I am going to start a preliminary discussion forum at WT:CRIC, we can get an agreed format and the content will fall into place quite quickly after that.
Phanto282 (talk) 07:29, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Also - Robinson's book has a photo of Craig in the nets when he was 16 or 17, which is pre-1955, maybe you can scan and add it to the article? It really needs a couple more images.

Aadal
I just wanted to bring you abreast with the type of discussion Aadal is having with me on the Kannada literature discussion page where he has been inserting his confusing comments in the midst of an other bad faith Rfc. I am not sure if this user has a basic knowledge of how wiki works if he is trying to badger me (I think it is the latter) but here is how the discussions are going.
- First he asks for direct quotations from the source book regarding a Kannada poet/writer
- When I provide the quotation, he questions the source and the credibility of the author from whose book the quotation was taken.
- Then he asks for proof about the ancient/medieval poet's existance, proof whether he wrote in Kannada or not etc.
He does not seem to understand that I can only quote a historian(s)/reliable source. If he has doubts whether the poet actually wrote in Kannada, instead of asking me to prove myself, he needs to do his homework and bring valid citations to disprove my citation or atleast contradict it. We seem to be going round and round and this has been going on from the begining of the FAC in Feb. I felt this is a good time to bring you up-to-date. Here are the sections where badgering is going on, "Questions about quotations", "Should we take E.P. Rice (1897, 1921) seriously?" , "Points not made clear". You will see as you go through these sections that at no point is he able to disprove my sources, but rather he keeps jumping from section to section just to keep his trolling on.thanks.Dineshkannambadi (talk) 20:07, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Here is an example conversation: (Ravi Kirti is the 7th century Kannda poet)
No DK, He is not known to have written in Kannada. Show me his Kannada writing. Even more modern Tamil authors like the famous Subramania Bharathi were multi-lingual, but they did not write in all the languages. You have to prove that Ravikirti wrote in (nay authored literary works in) Kannada. Please don't remove tags and stop saying it is frivolous in your edit summaries. I added the tag only after discussing it here and not getting any satisfactory answers.--Aadal (talk) 20:03, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you kindly for your offer of help. As you can see on my drawing board, I've started into the sections about math and physics as best I can, and used bold-talics to show where other folks will need to jump in. Feel free to just write those sections yourself, and/or change what's already there. Of course, let me know if you have questions or you think I might be able to help in any way.
Ideally, I'd like to get something basic down in the next few days, and then move it over to the actual page for her, then let the more technical stuff get ironed out during the peer review process. Thanks again! – Scartol • Tok 02:00, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
