Manx Line was the name of the ferry company whom brought the "Roll-on Roll-off" era to the Isle of Man between 1979 - 1984.

The company operated one Spanish vessel Monte Castillo which was renamed "Manx Viking". The Company operated between Douglas and Heysham and offered very very serious competition to the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and at one point it was thought they would close.

In 1984 the first easterly gale to blow wrecked Manx Lines linkspan. There was a debate over who was to blame. It took a great deal of time, and was finally settled when Sealink in actual fact took over operations. Sealink closed the route around 1986/87/88,

The are noteable for bringing the Ro-Ro era to the Isle of Man.
