Marusagar Express
Marusagar Express is a Weekly Express train presently running between Jaipur to Ernakulam. Connecting between Rajastan and Kerala. This train runs through four zones of Indian Railways ie;Western Railway, Central Railway, Konkan Railway and Southern Railway.It starts from Jaipur on Friday morning and reaches Eranakulam on Sunday early morning and starts back to Jaipur on Sunday evening to reach Jaipur on Tuesday afternoon.
History
The service of this train started in 2002 September from Jaipur. It is the second fastest train connecting between West zone & South zone. This train is in Superfast category. So it has more importance than normal passenger and express trains.
Origin of Name
The starting of this train is from Jaipur in Rajastan. The Thar Desert is the only desert in India. The hindi name of desert is "Maru Pradesh". By the way this train got this name.
