Christine Glanville

Christine Glanville (24 October 1924 - 28 February 1999) was a professional puppeteer and spent most of her working life involved to some degree with Gerry Anderson.

She was born with the name Nancy Christine Fletcher in Halifax, West Yorkshire, but moved to London in early childhood. She became involved in the film industry during war service at Elstree Studios and studied art in her free time. After the end of the war she joined a puppet theatre company that her parents were connected with - this set her upon a course she would follow for many years.

She joined AP Films in 1957 and worked on all of their productions, as well as the subsequent supermarionation shows of Anderson's Century 21 Productions. As well as being lead puppet operator, she was often responsible for the design and construction of the puppets themselves she desighned puppets such as Scott Tracy, Alan Tracy, and Tin Tin Kyrano.

Christine died on 28 February 1999 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire aged 74 years.
