Xchanging is a fast-growing international pure play business process outsourcing company providing complex industry specific processing to the banking and insurance industries such as securities processing, commercial insurance premiums and claims processing. Xchanging also provides procurement, finance and accounting, and human resources services to customers across industries.

Set up by David Andrews it operates by outsourcing back office processing, often employing some of the original workforce.

Its main competitor in London is Capita, both move jobs to low-cost areas, such as Xchanging's main site at Chatham in Kent.

Because of Andrews' public school background and his subsequent interest in water-sports, the company associates itself with the Boat Race, and features Andrews at the helm of a yacht in internal motivational products.

Employees are encouraged to memorise the mission statement.
