- According to book ref: Computer Law: The Law and Regulation of Information Technology 6th ed. Parker v. Flook had nothing to do with catalytic converters. Instead it had to do with catalytic conversion of hydrocarbons, pg 308.

Notes Section
Should "The section says," be changed to "Section 101 says," since it is worded this way in Gottschalk v. Benson. I don't wish to change it at this time since I have not had the time to verify that this quote comes from section 101. Dyslexicon (talk) 20:52, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
