Advice

Just wondering if the story that was in the media about one of the "Nancys", Francesca Jackson is relevant to this article or not? The story about her and Denise Van Outen being friends? Is it relevant? On the Any Dream Will Do (TV series) article there is a Criticism section. It has been in the national press and there are plenty of reliable sources online that can be used, but I wasn't sure whether or not to add anything on here so any advice would be welcome. I've also asked this on the Musical Theatre project.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 22:29, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd say yes. I've not seen any of the stories in the press, but certainly if they did appear in the major newspapers, it's worth adding a note (just a sentence with a reference) to the article. I must say it's something I noticed during the show, but as they were quite upfront about it I don't see any problem... worth a mention, though. - Dafyd (talk) 22:51, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the reply. I agree that it is something that shouldn't be a problem or an issue. With it being in the public domain, then as you say, a short sentence should suffice. However, that then begs the question of in which section to put it? There is a link to a story in the Daily Mirror, which I suppose is good enough to use as a source. I've added it now in the section about last Saturdays show as it was in the week leading up to that and I suppose it is most relevant there.♦Tangerines♦·Talk 22:59, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Nice. I've rearranged the article a bit, to present the information in a slightly more straightforward manner - the line about Francesca seems to fit better now where it is. - Dafyd (talk) 14:41, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tables and Infobox

After discussing this with Dafyd I have added some tables that can be used each week for the songs and missions. There is the concern that by doing this the article might become too "table heavy". However, we can at least try it and see if it works or not. I did also create a table for the Sing-Off but decided it didn't work so left it out. This is the table -

Sing Off
Finalist Song Lowest viewers votes Eliminated/saved
Amy Tell Me on a Sunday yes Eliminated
Francesca Tell Me on a Sunday no Saved

The infobox lists the number of episodes. As it currently stands it is two. I am not sure though whether the two weekly shows should be combined as one episode or if they should count as two individual episodes? Thank you. ♦Tangerines♦·Talk 19:45, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy

Should a section be added about all the complaints the BBC received over the last 7 days for the only 2 black Nancy contestants being dropped into the sing-off together last week. This caused Lloyd Webber to make a quick statement in the show last night to announce that the judges are looking for talent not from where the Nancys come from. —— Ryan (t)(c) 08:41, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
