beatmania IIDX 15 - DJ TROOPERS is the newest addition to the beatmania IIDX series. Its theme is very similar to the Metal Gear Solid series due to its military-style interface. The 5KEYS modifier now uses keys 3-7 instead of 1-5 when playing on the Player 2 side. Difficulty is now expressed as a number instead of a 12-block meter. A bar on the song select screen shows how a player progresses on the song. The name of the song is now shown on the results screen. The Military Splash system make this the third iteration of multiple Extra Stages and the second iteration of multiple One More Extra Stages. Songs from Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA and Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2 are being transplanted to this series.
