Aurouks are a mammal species related to Buffalo, but with longer horns who are native to Europe. They once lived all over that continent and as such were an important food source for primitive human inhabitants. Hunted almost to the point of extinction, they exist now only in very isolated areas of Eastern Europe, and then only in small groups.
