Edison College, formerly Edison Junior College, then Edison Community College, is a community college in Southwest Florida, based in Fort Myers, Florida, and named after inventor and industrialist Thomas Edison, who lived in Fort Myers during the winter months. The main campus is located in Lee, with branch campuses in Charlotte, Collier and outreach program in Hendry and Glades Counties.
Edison College offers A.S., A.A. and B.A.S. degrees. The college also takes 11th and 12th Grade Dual Enrollment students from Lee County School District high schools.
Edison College is also home to the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, which hosts plays, shows, and concerts.
