Me in 2004

Hello ! My name is Chris(tian) Azoeuf and I'm from Brussels, Belgium.

I'm new at Wikipedia so bear with my small experience and my lack of correct coding here.
I started contributions to the Wikipedia with some articles about Punk rock in Belgium in the late 70's, as it was a very fun period for me. As I'm interested in numerous things, I may get around a lot in this wikistuff...

Althought I'm a native French-speaking person, I prefer to use English in this Internet environment just because English is much more commonly spoken/read/written and I'm quite comfortable with it.

Cheers
Chris

== Short CV ==

Born in 1959, I've done lots of things in my life. After studying photography, I worked in a factory, in TV and radio stations, in a youth hostel, in the hotel industry and finally, in the Internet industry.
In 1987-1988 I traveled for a year throughout Canada and the US.
I started to create websites in 1995 and in 1999, I made it my main job.

Music

I'm very eclectic in my musical tastes. I first hit the rock'n'roll craze when I was 11 years old with Eloise from Barry Ryan. Then followed chronologically (just quoting a few): The Beatles, Black Sabbath, T-Rex, Slade, Sweet, Gary Glitter, Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, ELP, Yes, Woodstock, CSNY, -- I'm switching to genres now... --- flower power, country music, protest songs, folk music, blue grass, jazz, free-jazz, jazz-rock, reggae, punk rock, ska, rockabilly, salsa, etc.

My favorite of all and forever: The Ramones!

I formed my first punk rock band in 1977 named The Razors. Then followed in 1979 Acné Juvénile, then The Charts, then Index. I stopped making music around 1983-84.

Story to be continued...

My favorites places and cities

  • BubbleCom [1]: my small company's website.
  • Robin Hood Development [2] for which I'm also under contract for the web developments.
  • Frites.be [3]: co-founded with Hugues Henry in 1997, a website for a different and humorous insight's Belgium and somehow about the Belgian Fries.
