CJOH-TV Ottawa broadcasts on Channel 13, from Camp Fortune, Quebec, Channel 8 from Lancaster, ON, Channel 6 from Deseronto, ON and Channel 47 from Pembroke, ON. It is a member of the CTV Network and signed on for the first time on March 12, 1961. It's studios and offices are located on Merivale Road in Nepean. Newscasts are weekdays at 12 PM, 6 PM and 11:30 PM, following the CTV News. Well known celebrities that first appeared on CJOH include Rich Little, Alanis Morrissette and Peter Jennings. Jennings started his professional career with the station during its early years, anchoring the local newscasts and hosting a teen dance show on Saturdays. Alanis Morrissette starred on a local sketch comedy show, You Can't Do That On Television, aimed at the pre-teen and teen demographics. CJOH provides CTV Network coverage for all of Eastern Ontario, a large segment of Western Quebec and portions of Northern New York, USA.
