The battle of Plassey was a battle between the forces of the british east india company and of Siraj ud Dowla, the Nawab of Bengal. The battle was very decisive, ending in a total victory for the british.

Tactics: The British general Robert Clive's forces totoal some 3000 and the nawab's some 50,000. The superior britsh artillery ultimately decided the issue, in combination with bribery of the nawabs troops.
