Lock

When should this page start having a "lock" on it for registered users only? Already, I occasionally see a couple of people already adding unsourced information. I know for sure from past cycles that people will continue to add false or unsourced last names, mess with the callout order and the like. So when is the right "time"? Sireafi (talk) 02:28, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And where did that elimination table come from? 81.101.253.201 (talk) 19:54, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know it's been removed some time ago but this is the type of thing I'm talking about. Someone already made a fake callout table and it's preshow! Sireafi (talk) 21:38, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think now would be a good time for a semi-lock for the article. Already, unregistered users have added fake callouts. Sireafi (talk) 04:30, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Removed the incorrect and rumored Callout table information. Corrected the already aired episode information and removed the remaining names until called. ZyphBear (talk) 08:30, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Surnames

Anya's and Claire's surnames have been found. They have print work and are properly cited. Anya Kop and Claire Unabia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.72.55.246 (talk) 04:16, 8 February 2008 (UTC) [1][reply]

You need to cite your source in the article, not here on the talk page. Eatcacti (talk) 04:26, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
is facebook a reliable source —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.85.132.54 (talk) 03:36, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No. Because anyone can make a Facebook page claiming their name is anything. Things like newspaper or magazine articles are usually considered reliable sources. —dgiestc 00:26, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes! We need to source things scrupulously. There is all sorts of fake information on the Web, and we put confirmable citations so that other editors can check it and see it for themselves. Blogs, for instance, are not allowed unless it's the blog of the subject him/herself, or a newspaper/magazine column that's simply online as a blog -- please see and read WP:SPS and WP:BLP. --Skippu (talk) 14:22, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chart

Amazing, someone has all ready finished the chart! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Npurplegirl (talkcontribs) 23:29, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Winner

I'm SO glad Whitney won. First plus size winner!I'm so happy for her. Can whoever wrote that Anya won fix that? The finale just ended and I'm POSITIVE Whitney won. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.217.102 (talk) 01:11, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FDNY

Under the episode Where's the Beef? it says that the New York City Fire department is featured. They aren't. The FDNY wear black bunker gear, the FD featured was wearing tan. Also, the FDNY Engine 5 and Ladder 2 are not in the same station house. If you look at the helmet Jay is wearing it says "Oceana Fire Dept."

... Mr. Jay SAID "Welcome to the New York Fire Department"...220.255.7.226 (talk) 11:15, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Girls' Makeover

Tyra never specified what her hair color was but that it'll just be darker. However by the naked eye, it's obviously black but others say that since it wasn't specified, it should not be called black.

Also, Dominique's original hair color or re-dye was never specified but it was obviously dark brown and dark blond, respectively. Due to that reasoning, should it be removed too?

Lastly, Allison's hair color is never specified but Yahoo posts the pictures and described it as, "Allison went from dark to bright with a new copper mane." - http://tv.yahoo.com/americas-next-top-model/show/35130/photos/1

So please discuss. We should keep a semi-permanent list of makeovers on the talk page so that the makeovers aren't changed over a certain detail or color. Sireafi (talk) 04:28, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was reading the description for the Top Models Take it to the Streets, and it says that Dominique struggled with her photoshoot, which I think is wrong. Her photoshoot went very well, according to Jay and the judges. I can't change it, so somebody else has to do it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.252.253.31 (talk) 22:58, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

contestants heights

im sure there are more girls that are 6'0 or over so don't be shocked if more girls are added —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smartie.Pantz4 (talkcontribs) 05:16, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

why is it that lauren is credited to be 6'1 if the source (her myspace) says that she is 6'0?? thank u Lucia (talk) 15:56, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 7 Info

Somebody has put on the episode summaries two people that got in the bottom two for episode 7, and which person got eliminated. Episode 7 has yet to air, and they do not put a source for where they got this information. I think until that can be proven, it is better to remove the names for Episode 7 until we find their reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.138.235.143 (talk) 17:43, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

whitney's weight?

SORRY but where did we get that whitney weighs 216? source...anything? Lucia (talk) 02:23, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Someone probably thought it'd be funny to add it and added it. It's unsourced and most likely false. Sireafi (talk) 23:46, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Stacy Ann

Tyra said that Stacy Ann won the challenge though her team ended up winning. Shouldn't that be noted? Tyra specifically said that twice during the eliminations. 24.85.132.54 (talk) 03:35, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's said in the episode summary.
It should be said in the call-out order too. 24.85.132.54 (talk) 01:18, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anya's accent?

Aakimenko (talk) 01:53, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Anybody knows where Anya is originally from? Aakimenko (talk) 01:53, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[Anya is from Russia, she was adopted from a Hawaiian family.] Kasix (talk) 02:04, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Call-out Order

Someone just added another fake call-out order. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.242.198.175 (talk) 04:33, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

International Destination

In the second paragraph of the page it states that the international destination is Makka Pakkas House,The night garden. This is not necessarily true for the episode has not aired. Also the sources cited are not considerably reliable. Should this information be deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by B165789309 (talkcontribs) 20:26, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

tv.com/tvguide.com/zap2it.com/thefutoncritic.com are all reliable as they use network sent summaries. They have all posted "Viva Italia!"'s summary and included "the girls go to Italy" or something of that accord while another had said "the girls go to Rome, Italy". Also, "We are Spartans!"'s photoshoot takes place in a Roman castle. Sireafi (talk) 22:41, 14 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Challenge Wins

Should the group challenge wins be considered an individual win for the statistics (i.e. Claire holds the record this cycle for most collective challenge wins while two of the three have been group challenge wins.) I am only concerned because this seems strange to me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by B165789309 (talkcontribs) 20:38, 13 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 6 corrections

I think it should just be noted that, in episode 6, Claire was put into the bottom 2 for being too 'couture' for her theme - it was said that if she was more comical than it would have portrayed the theme better. I saw that it had originally said that Claire was too couture for her theme, but it has now been changed too 'comical' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.149.54.0 (talk) 14:36, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Call-out order

Fatima's episode 9 colour needs to be dark-blue, like Shannon's cycle 1. I thought turquoise was when the girl won CG of the week and got eliminated? 80.7.27.173 (talk) 11:07, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who's editing this?

Some users keep editing topics without trustworthy sources. Please stop doing that. Dante 01:05, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Designer name for 'Viva Italia'

We need to find this, I'd edit it in if I could remember...Terra (talk) 01:51, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's Gai Martiollo or something. Thanks for bringing it up but I believe it's already been edited. Dante 23:45, 24 April 2008 (UTC)

Episode 7 corrections

On the table, it does not note the fact that Dominique won the challenge with her team on Episode 7 (her name is not blue like the other winners) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.157.177.32 (talk) 14:34, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

elimination?

Episode 11 has not been aired, yet under Contestants, (In order of elimination), it states that Katarzyna has been eliminated, which can't be proven since the nobody's seen the episode. Futier345 (talk) 22:44, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was scared to death when I saw Katarzyna's name there; I hope she doesn't get eliminated. And yes, you're right, the article can't be edited without trustworthy sources. Dante 02:09, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

She's eliminated now. :( But st least she was the Covergirl of the Week in the same week. Futier345 (talk) 14:35, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Final rankings?

How come the call-out orders are all filled in? How are these accurate, when the shows haven't aired yet? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.96.65.86 (talk) 00:56, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

why is Anya Kop listed as winner of Cycle 10? the final episode hasn't aired yet... Why is fatima put as winner and anya as runner-up when the episode won't air for a week Nobody knows who won! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.198.101.3 (talk) 16:26, 5 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

People want to think that they're smart or funny by trying to ruin it all for the rest of us. From what I remember there was a user last cycle that went out of his way trying to be "cute"....its gonna happen for any reality show...people putting up spoilers Nemle22 (talk) 03:04, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

C'mon guys..

Calling Whitney a fat cow is pretty pathetic Get over it! She is not even FAT she has curves but she is not OBESE. Next thing you know people will be calling Anya a stupid blond when she is not even a true BLONDE! Be mature about this —Preceding unsigned comment added by KZKfool (talkcontribs) 00:25, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Go-See's in Rome

I wonder why in all the other Cycles the top five girls go on Go-See's for their first challenge in the international place. Why not this season? —Preceding unsigned comment added by KZKfool (talkcontribs) 00:33, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't they already go? I thought they did, but in teams no? Oscar (talk) 19:06, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That is correct Oscar but why would Tyra and the producers decide to deviate from the typical international go-see challenge. It was something that I was looking forward to, too see what the Italian designers thought of the different contestants. B165789309 (talk) 21:45, 9 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, they did go the week Claire was eliminated....2 weeks before they were in Rome. Nemle22 (talk) 23:20, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But in all the other cycles they had Go-See's in their international place and when they were still in America —Preceding unsigned comment added by KZKfool (talkcontribs) 01:08, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sutan/Christian Marc

Why are they listed as guest stars? A) They work for the show. B) They're not "stars." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seven2 (talkcontribs) 05:30, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Winner

Why did Whitney win Cycle 10? She always looked fake. I definately think Anya should have won. I'm sort of glad a full figured girl won. But Anya was so much better!
