Jason Anthony Griffith (Born November 26, 1980) is an American voice actor who has worked on several animated TV series, and is currently the official voice of Sega mascot Sonic the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Jet the Hawk in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series, where he was credited as Jason Griffith.
Outside the Sonic series, his voice is well-known as that of Usopp and his father Yasopp, in the 4Kids version of the animated TV series One Piece. He is also known as J. Griff in the credits of One Piece, Pokémon, Sonic X, and later episodes of other media from 4Kids Entertainment. In the credits of Sonic and the Secret Rings, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he is credited as Adam Caroleson.

Voice Acting Controversity
Jason Griffith since voicing Sonic has been criticized for his presence in the Sonic fandom. The choice that Sega made in hiring the 4Kids actors in Shadow the Hedgehog have caused a split between the Sonic Fan Community for years to come. The split had divided into the fans of Ryan Drummond (The previous voice actor for Sonic) and the fans of Jason Griffith. The Ryan fans had flamed the Griffith fans for not being true Sonic fans and for playing the recent games because of the supposed "bad acting" while the Griffith fans argue that the new actors had no noticable differences. Some of the Ryan fans had went to far and wished death on Jason Griffith thus causing flame Wars on Youtube and other social websites such as IGN, Myspace and Sonic Fan Forums.
