Discussion on Svayam Bhagavan article

Shruti, can you please help with the S.B. article. Please look at the edits of mine and wikidas's. Can you please help with the article. It appears there might be some friction between wikidas and myself again. I really would like to contest alot with what has been put on this article. Please Help.Govinda Ramanuja dasa USA (talk) 02:01, 1 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Once I get the support and info Im looking for Ill prob start by replacing the redirect. Yeah Iv done tht. Your recent edits and suggestion on Svayam bhagavan

I just wanted to say, that I appreciate your attempt in bringing in balance to Svayam bhagavan page. I have a sort of broken communication with GRd who seems to be taking pleasure in making fun of my edits. I appreciate you impartial comments and input to the article itself - it is very much appreciated, especially since you are in the middle of the exams. Wikidās ॐ 09:34, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shruti, I have added the other POVs to achieve WP:YESPOV - that is something that I need to be pointed out to what extend more I need to add other POV to get the balance right especially since Svayam bhagavan is a concept specific to Krishna-centered traditions. If some one can just point to me 30% in this section and 40% in this section I can do that I think. Thanks a lot. Wikidās ॐ 09:42, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NBA Newsletter

It was said here that you would do the next newsletter? Will you be doing it for May? Because if you can't, then I'll be glad to do it. Noble Story (talk) 09:22, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for the late reply - I've been busy with school exams. You've done a great job with the newsletter. I'd love to help with the next edition. --Shruti14 t c s 03:33, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
About the next newsletter: It would be great if you could work on the June edition. As you can see here, I've done a major redesign of the newsletter. I was thinking that I could just handle the part on the left side (Project News, COTM, Member News) and you could take the right side (NBA Article, This Month in NBA History..). I think that would leave you with a lot of freedom to do whatever you want. What do you think? Noble Story (talk) 03:47, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Collaboration of the Month

Magic Johnson has been chosen to be our very first Collaboration of the Month article. Although this is article is already a Good Article, it still can be improved. The goal is to improve this article by the end of May so that it can be nominated for Featured Article status. In particular, free-use images should be found for the article, all Manual of Style guidelines should be followed, and a neutral point of view should be maintained throughout the article. If there is anything you can do to improve the article, then please help out.

Re:Thanks

Anytime. Hope they went of well - and dont take the last one lightly - u will hv all the time in the world for everything else after it. Anyways, Iv started Laxminarayan Article as a stubby - dont hv much info - but will be expanding as and when I get some. Pl. expand the article if u hv the resources. In case ur interested theres a proposal for a new Swaminarayan Workgroup, Swaminarayan workgroup. If you are interested in being an editor on this project, or helping in any way, it is still in the process. Thanks, Wheredevelsdare (talk) 22:55, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Move

If you are 100% sure that that is the more common spelling then you can. Talk to User:Wheredevelsdare first. He created the page.    Juthani1   tcs 02:24, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have also left a message on Wheredevelsdare's talk page as well. Also note that Laxmi redirects to Lakshmi for the same reason. I will not make the move unless there is a general agreement. --Shruti14 t c s 02:29, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I agree    Juthani1   tcs 02:31, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
 Done --Shruti14 t c s 03:31, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hi, and welcome to the WikiProject Dravidian civilizations! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Dravidian related topics.

A few features that you might find helpful:

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Interested in working on a more complete article? The peer review department of the project would welcome your help!
  • Interested in a particular area of a Dravidian groups history, geography, culture etc. ? There is already one task force, and you could initiate the creation of more focusing on specific topics or periods.
  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every military history article in Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around!

I added your name to the invite list. Would you help me find more people that live in DFW, and add them alphabetically to the list? It usually says where they are from on their pages. Basketball110 My story/Tell me yours 23:59, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
