The Twelve Tribes-Purported cult currently residing in Vermont. The group aroused controversy because of their emphasis on spanking children, the end-times, and themselves as the restoration of the original messianic kingdom. They have also ran a variety of restaurants and restaurant related businesses. Current membership is estimated at 2500. See Elbert Yoneq Spriggs.
