Yekaterinburg Time is used by the Russian federal subjects shown in yellow on the map.

Yekateringburg Time (YEKT) is the time zone 5 hours ahead of UTC (UTC+5) and 2 hours ahead of Moscow Time (MSK+2). Yekaterinburg Summer Time (YEKTST) is UTC+6, but remains constant as regards Moscow Time (MSD+2). YEKT/YEKTST is the official time zone for Bashkortostan, Perm Krai, Kurgan Oblast, Orenburg Oblast, Sverdlovsk Oblast, Tyumen Oblast, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
