Mark Mueller is an ASCAP award-winning songwriter and two-time Emmy nominated lyricist from Portola Valley, California, who now lives and works in Encino, California. He has had three Billboard Top Ten singles on the Hot 100 chart (Jennifer Paige’s “Crush”, which reached #3; Amy Grant’s “That's What Love Is For,” which reached #7; and Heart’s “Nothin' at All,” which reached #10). “Crush” also peaked at #2 on the R&R CHR airplay chart, while “That's What Love Is For” was a #1 Billboard AC and #4 R&R CHR airplay hit. Internationally, “Crush” reached #1 on the United World Chart and was a #4 single in the UK and a #1 single in Canada, Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

Artists who have recorded Mueller’s work on RIAA-certified platinum and gold albums and singles include: Jennifer Paige; Amy Grant; Heart (band); 'N Sync; Earth, Wind & Fire; SWV; Al Jarreau; George Benson; Aaron Carter; El DeBarge and The Pointer Sisters (on the Billboard #1 “We Are the World (album)). Internationally, his songs have been on BPI-certified platinum and gold records by artists including Girls Aloud, Steps and Eternal (band). His Eternal single “I Am Blessed” reached #7 on the UK BPI singles chart.

Mueller’s songs have been featured in films including “One Hour Photo,” “Pokémon: The First Movie,” “Money Talks,” “B*A*P*S,” “National Lampoon’s Vegas Vacation,” “The Last Starfighter” and “Adventures in Babysitting.”

Mueller’s work in television includes the title songs for Disney’s animated series “DuckTales” and “Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers” and he has garnered two Emmy nominations for Best Song for the ABC series “Life Goes On” and the NBC series “Quincy, M.E..” He also co-wrote the script and was Executive Producer of a pilot for CBS titled “Shangri-La Plaza.”

Mueller’s credits on stage include writing the lyrics and co-writing the book of the original musical “Butterfly,” which was performed at the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut under the direction of Tony Award-winner Jack Hofsiss.
