Simon Bird is an English actor and writer.
He graduated from Queens’ College Cambridge.
In 2006, he appeared in the world-famous Cambridge Footlights National Tour Show, Niceties, described on their site [1] as a fast-paced and hilarious comedy sketch show. With Footlights he performed in two pantomimes, ‘Two Spring Revues’, and ‘A Lot Of Smokers’. He co-wrote the 2005 pantomime, ‘Great Expectations’ and the Harry Porter prize-wining play ‘Daddy’s Dead’. He was in the 2005 National Tour Show as well, and was the president of Footlights.
He took part in Chortle's national student comedy awards in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 performing short bits of stand-up in front of small audiences [2] [3]
He currently plays Will in E4’s comedy, The Inbetweeners.
