Alan Renouf

Alan Renouf (b. 1919)[1], (d. 2008) [2] was a prominent Australian Government official during the 1970s.

During 1978 and 1979 he was the Australian Ambassador to the United States. [3] He was also Australia's Ambassador to France [4].

Prior to that he was the permanent head of the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Australia) 1974-1977 [5]

Alan Renouf wrote at least two books

"The Frightened Country", published 1979 [6]

"Malcolm Fraser and Australian Foreign Policy", published 1986 [7]
