Lynn Daucher (born 1946) was a Republican California State Assemblywoman from Orange County from 2000 until 2006 when she was term limited. That year, Daucher made an unsuccessful run for the California State Senate being vacated by Joseph Dunn, losing to former Assemblyman Lou Correa. Daucher is currently the director of the California Department of Aging.

Pre Assembly Career

From 1994 until 2000, Daucher served on the Brea City Council. She served a year as mayor during her time on the council. Daucher was first elected to public office when she was elected to the School Board for Brea Olinda Unified School District.

Education

Daucher holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a minor in mathematics from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.

Private Life

Daucher has lived in the Orange County city of Brea for the past thirty-six years, with her husband of thirty-eight years, Don. They have four grown children.
