3T

3T is an American R&B music group featuring the three sons of Tito Jackson (from the The Jackson 5) and the late Delores "Dee Dee" Jackson. The band members include, from eldest, Toriano Adaryll Jackson (also known as Taj), Taryll Adren Jackson and Tito Joe Jackson (also known as TJ).

On August 27, 1994, Delores was murdered by her lover Donald Bohana for apparently refusing to lend Bohana money to cover nearly $2 million in debts [1]. 3T dedicated their debut album to their mother's memory.

Career

3T released their debut album in 1995, titled Brotherhood produced by MJJ Music. Their album sold approximately three million copies worldwide. They achieved an international hit with their debut single, titled "Anything" and released several hit singles in Europe including "24/7", "Why" (a duet with their uncle Michael), "I Need You" (with Michael on backing vocals), "Tease Me" and "Gotta Be You". In 1996, they were ranked second, behind the Spice Girls, as the biggest selling group in Europe.

3T have also written and produced songs for the soundtracks to such films as The Jacksons: An American Dream, Free Willy and Free Willy 2, Men in Black, and Trippin'.

The group continued to perform in France, the Netherlands and Belgium after getting signed to a French label TF1/NRJ in 2003 and for the Netherlands they were signed to a Dutch label,Digidance, in 2004, for Dutch releases, appearances and performances.Their last album, titled Identity was released on March 23, 2004. Two singles were released from that album: "Stuck On You" (a cover of the Lionel Richie song) (Released 2003 in France and Belgium, 2004 in The Netherlands) and "Sex Appeal"(Released 2004).

In December 2005, it was announced that 3T would star in a Television reality show, which would feature the band trying to resurrect their career in United States. This has not yet taken place.

In 2006 Taryll launched his myspace account. That same year he created a myspace music account. In 2007 Taryll announced solo-releases being prepared, hence a solo album on it's way. Some previews were added to the player on his myspace music account but later were removed. Now in 2008 he's announced to be coming soon by adding a track to his myspace titled "Coming soon" possibly hinting to an upcoming album release.

Taj is currently in North Devon (United Kingdom, Europe) with his father, apparently for a documentary filmed by Channel4 along with other members of the Jackson family.
