Rhys Muldoon (born 17 October 1965 in Newcastle, New South Wales) is an Australian actor, writer who has been involved in film, television, theatre and radio.

Television

Rhys has starred in numerous television roles including Bastard Boys, Dr Bogle and Mrs Chandler, the BAFTA nominated Lockie Leonard, Grass Roots (series 1 and 2) as the scheming general manager, Greg Dominelli, Secret Life of Us, Big Sky, The Genie From Down Under and as a presenter in Play School. Rhys has also had guest roles in Australian television shows such as McLeod's Daughters, Stingers and Farscape. He also made regular appearances on the panel discussion show The Glass House, including the grand finale show. He also appeared regularly on Good News Week.

Film

In film, Rhys has appeared in the Oscar nominated film The Saviour (2006), Danny Deckchair (2003), The Extra (2005)and Bitter and Twisted (2008)

Theatre

On stage, Rhys starred as British Prime Minister Tony Blair in the play Stuff Happens by David Hare in Sydney and Melbourne. In 2005, he was Cooley in Don's Party in 2006/7 for the MTC/STC. He starred in Decadence by Steven Berkoff, as Mozart in a production of Amadeus, as Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet and as Demetrius in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Radio

In 2006, he co-hosted a radio show in Canberra with the now Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd.
