Turkeyfoot Country Market from Airplane

The Turkeyfoot Country Market and the Sheffield Music Hall are the primary cultural centers in this community. While technically in the Sheffield-Calahan Fire District, many residents consider the Sheffield Music Hall to belong to the Turkeyfoot community since it is found at 114 Turkeyfoot Road only a few miles from the Turkeyfoot Country Market.

The Sheffield Music Hall hosts live music events every Saturday night starting at 7pm. One can purchase gasoline, propane, soft drinks, alcohol, snacks, sandwiches, pizza, and fishing tackle at the Turkeyfoot Country Market (704-546-7535; 2107 Sandy Springs Rd).

The residents of this community are highly independent and proud of their rural traditions.
