"Fall Down"
Song

Fall Down is the first single released from Jebediah's 2002 self-titled album Jebediah . It was released 29 October 2001 and reached number 24 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart.

“I suppose I just wanted to write about breaking through the walls of apathy, of conservatism”, explains Mitchell. “The song is about celebrating all of this inspiration that is there to be found.”

Fall Down boasts blitzkrieg bagpipes, courtesy of Jim (pronounced: Jimmmayy) MacDonald, a seventysomething session hand who crashed the studio in full tartan regalia.

The lyrics contain strong references to the George Orwell book Nineteen Eighty-four.
