"When You Look Me in the Eyes" is a song by the American pop rock band Jonas Brothers. The song was released as the band's third single from their self-titled second album Jonas Brothers in 2007. This is one of the songs played in the Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds Concert movie.


Charts

"When You Look Me in the Eyes" made an impact on iTunes after just two days after the video debut. It first debuted at 60, and then climbed 20 places to number 40 shortly after. It has peaked at number 7. It also made an impact on Billboard Hot 100 as it climbed from number 85 to number 49; it then sat at number 25.

On February 26th, 2008, the video was released in the iTunes US store. As of 4 PM, it was at number 8. After 9 PM, it went up to number 1.

The song also debuted on Channel V's V Countdown, peaking at number 16. It peaked at #1, being the band's highest charting single in Asia. At the same time, the band is currently being Channel V's 'In The Spotlight'.

The video premiered on Disney Channel Asia on 20 April, right after the premiere of the film Minutemen.

Trivia

  • Jonas Brothers Look Me In the Eyes Tour was named after this song, which was the current single at the time of the tour.
  • When they performed this song on Dancing With the Stars, they dedicated this song to one of their closest friends, and a leader of their official Street Team, who passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2008.
  • Jason Nevins produced a dance remix of the single for promotional release.
  • They also played the song on The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show (along with their other song "SOS").
