Udi language

A member of the Caspian (or eastern) branch of the Caucasian languages. It is still spoken by about 8000 people in the village of Vartashen, Azerbaijan. It is related to Lezghian and, more distantly, to Khinalug. Together with Lak and Dargwa, this family forms the southern group of Caspian languages. The northern comprises Avar (and its dialects) and Chechen (and its dialects). The Pontine languages: (Circassian, Ubykh and Abkhaz, form the western group of Caucasian languages.
