"Higher Love" is a 1986 hit song for Steve Winwood, and was the first single from his third solo LP, Back in the High Life. It was written by Winwood and Will Jennings, and produced by Russ Titelman and Winwood. Backup vocals are courtesy of Chaka Khan.

It was Winwood's first Billboard number one hit, but only topped the Hot 100 for 1 week. It was preceded by Madonna's "Papa Don't Preach" and followed by Venus by Bananarama. It also earned a Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
