Lugarno is a residential Sydney suburb in New South Wales, Australia. It is on the border of the Georges River and is known for its excessive bushland. Lugarno had suffered critical problems during the bush-fires of 1993 ("Ash Wednesday"), the 1996 bush-fires and the 2001/2002 summer Christmas fires.

Due to the excess bushland and view of the Georges River, housing in Lugarno is mostly expensive. Thus, Lugarno is mostly an upperclass suburb.

Nearby suburbs: Peakhurst, Illawong (on the other side of the Georges River).
