Nathan William Hindmarsh (born 7 September 1979 in Bowral, New South Wales) is an Australian rugby league player in the National Rugby League for the Parramatta Eels.
Junior career
He played for the junior club, Robertson near Moss Vale.

Parramatta career
Hindmarsh currently plays for the Paramatta Eels and is considered a leading player for the club given his experience at Club and representative level. His brother Ian Hindmarsh also plays for the Eels in the same position as Nathan. He currently holds the record for the most tackles made in a single game in the 2007 NRL season amassing 75 tackles against the Melbourne Storm in round 23 [3].
Hindmarsh often tops the tackle count in games and on occasion tackles until he is physically ill, as witnessed in State Of Origin 2005 when he vomited at the end of Game 2 [citation needed] earning himself comparisons to legends such as Ray Price. Rugby League great Peter Sterling has said on many occasions that Nathan Hindmarsh is as good a player as the great Ray Price.
Hindmarsh developed a cult following among Parramatta supporters due to his long "unkept and rural" hair and his baggy shorts which often slip down to reveal a "builder's crack.[4] The Sydney Morning Herald once wrote "We can send a man to the moon, but we still can't manufacture a pair of shorts to fit Nathan Hindmarsh's bum".[5] Will Swanton and Adrian Proszenko also called Hindmarsh's 'derriere' the most famous since Beyonce Knowles.[5]
On February 20, 2006, it was announced that Hindmarsh has signed with Parramatta up until the end of the 2010 season.
Hindmarsh is known for his endurance. In a 14-10 loss to Melbourne Storm in 2007 he made an all-time NRL record of 75 tackles [6] and on numerous occasions tops both the tackle and hit-up counts for Parramatta, NSW and Australia.

Hindmarsh has two sons, Archie and Buster to his partner Bonnie Scott. [7]
