choke is and incredible book. chuck is a superb writer. words cannot even describe is greatness! i love his writing style!

Chuck Palahniuk is overrated. Jesus, I am tired of teenagers constantly telling of this wonderful author whose entire list of works they read in a single orgasmic night. Read something good and nice and well-written, unlike this rant. Try some Umberto Eco, Roger Zelazny, Orson Scott Card....Anything really. Anyone. Nothing listed on any fanpage for Palahniuk though..Everything there is more crap written in the same style.

choke is my second favorite palahniuk book (along with lullaby). this page does it no justice. whoever wrote it is a moron. if i have time i'll put a proper introduction and synopsis here in place of this barely readable tripe. runciblerabbit

I'm thinking of getting rid of the line that says this novel can be seen as a sequel to Fight Club. It is obviously not and the only similarity between the two is in the style. If there aren't any objections then I'll take it out now. --681dragon 00:39, 28 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
