Hi Lavidia,

I am the great-niece of Dr. Edwin Walter Kemmerer. I wanted to thank you for publishing his biography to Wikipedia, but I also wanted to know why in particular you chose to write about him. How did you know who he was?
 Thanks,
 G. Kemmerer

Dear Ms. Kemmerer,

I am from Ecuador, where E.W. Kemmerer did extensive work during the late 1920's, advising the government on economic and financial policy, and drafting the laws and projects for the creation of the Central Bank, the banking regulation authority, and a comptroller's office.
The article is a result of a course assignment on the subject of modern East-Central Europe 20th century history. I was quite surprised to find there were only references to him on this website, so I quickly took the opportunity to write an article on him.
As the rating given to the article indicates, it is not comprehensive, and though it is classified as a biography it doesn't have much details on his life. Also, it only describes his work in Poland, though he also worked in many Central and South American countries. I hope to expand on some of these subjects in the future.

Thanks for your comment.
