Bransty is a suburb of Whitehaven in Cumbria, England. It is an average council estate. The centre of it, The Green, is a meeting place for children to play football and games, although can now often be overtook by chavs. It contains two forests, built around North Road and South View Road. Bransty School is on the top half of Bransty. It is a Primary school and specialises in helping deaf children, although deaf children only make up a small minority of the school. The headteacher is Mrs Coates.

Bransty is on the coast. The sea can be seen from almost all areas on Bransty, which brings a cool sea breeze. A park can also be found on Bransty.
