"Tribal" and "Tribal Gothic" Belly dance: How can anyone fuse part of a Middle-Eastern Asian culture with an American/European subculture??? It just looks ridiculous. "Tribal" bellydancing is just a traditional Arabic bellydance move performed throughout, so it's not a separate dance style. Arabic bellydancers normally looks sexy, but those white girls looks hideous. Tedious, Westernized piece of crap! Leave it to the South Asians, South-West Asians (Middle-Easterns) and North Africans - they look better when belly-dancing and wearing those Asian clothes!

(to the above comment) Your argument is based entirely on your lack of open mind and (obviously)your hate for "white Girls"! Do you live in a small box???? i study tribal fusion and ats, i love the earthy, elegant techniques that makes it unique in its own right. i can't imagine a life without dance and the culture that goes with it. it's a womans right to bellydance and show her spirit. Does it matter where and how she learnt it? Are you telling me you have never copied something and changed it to make it your own? in the real world we do this to enhance culture and make life fun, ineresting and worthwhile.
