Your bot.

Per discussions with fellow administrators and looking at the rules, we have decided to block your bot for now. The reason implied was WP:BITE and it's only for approved bots on WP:Bots. --ɔɹǝɐɯʎ!Talk 13:31, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

Can you please try do adjust your signature? Me and a lot of admins find it rather um, obonixious and annoying. --ɔɹǝɐɯʎ!Talk 21:05, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletions

For goodness sake! To get rid of your own test pages, you don't waste your time with AfD (which should have been MfD anyway!), you just tag them {{db-author}}. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 08:39, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anyhow, I was constructing them.--

India edits

Hi! Please could you not use the Indian flag as a background for mainspace edits as you were trying to do on the India page? Thanks! =Nichalp «Talk»= 10:11, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No. Please do not do such a thing. You are free to do whatever you want to your user page but not to other pages. Please remember that in Wikipedia, text and images are generally open to editing. Formatting and style changes are NOT, at least not without deep discussion. =Nichalp «Talk»= 12:55, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Flag in India article

Why are you trying to add the Indian flag over the Wikipedia logo? Any good reason? Please do not take such arbitrary deicios that spol the structure of Wikipedia pages. Just becasue you feel that The flag looks good.It should be on all country pages. Such drastic changes cannot be done without proper discussion on Wikipedia. And there is a flag anyway, so what is the need for another one right behind the wikipedia logo? --Deepak D'Souza (talkcontribs) 10:20, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi RRuk

Welcome!

Hi, and welcome to the India WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of India.

A few features that you might find helpful:

There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every India article in Wikipedia.
  • Can you code? The automation department uses automated and semi-automated methods to perform batch tasks that would be tedious to do manually.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! -- TinuCherian (Chat?) - 10:41, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

AFD nominations

Please take a look at WP:CSD -- many of the articles you are tagging for AFD are eligible for speedy deletion, which is quicker and a lot less work. Thanks! NawlinWiki (talk) 11:05, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Nobody's going to block you for CSD nominations -- especially not if you read the categories carefully and only tag obvious candidates for speedy deletion. But I just had to close 3 of your AFD nominations for articles that were obvious speedy-delete candidates. I'd rather not have to do that extra work. Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 11:20, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • Just click on this link: WP:CSD for a description of the speedy delete policies. I see you've tagged 3 or 4 more articles for AFD. Could you please stop this until you've gotten more familiar with our deletion policies? Thanks, NawlinWiki (talk) 11:26, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I would agree; we appreciate your contributions to the project, but there are easier ways to get nonsense, vandalism, and other pages removed. It creates extra work if we have to close individual discussions when a page can just be deleted per WP:CSD.  Frank  |  talk  11:29, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain...

Please refrain of using any scripts for a while. Otherwise, it may result in a block. --ɔɹǝɐɯʎ!Talk 12:18, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. A user has raised concerns about your editing practices in the thread linked to above. While we thank you for your intent to help us improve Wikipedia, you have been doing practically everything wrong so far, thereby creating unnecessary work for the editors who have to repair your edits.

Please stop using all automated tools such as Popups, rollback, Huggle and Twinkle, immediately, until you are very sure that you know what you are doing with them. Otherwise, the tools may be disabled for you, or you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thanks,  Sandstein  13:14, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey relax buddy... I hate to tell you this. There are lots of complaints about your edits.. Many of them are due to your ignorance of how Wikipedia works and what tools have to be used for what. Don't do experimental activities of tools and templates in wikipedia. As you are a newbie, I can understand your enthusiasm but you are doing more harm than good.. Please take a break, relax, go through your past edits and check whether you are doing right. As an experienced wikipedian myself, I offer you all my help. Feel free to ask me when in doubt. -- TinuCherian (Chat?) - 12:28, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Don't panic now...We are all here to help you. With some more maturity, you can be one of the best Wikipedians here ....So kindly stop using the tools for now. Currently I am going through your past edits and I will help you to understand what went wrong.Enjoy your stay in Wikipedia. -- TinuCherian (Chat?) - 12:34, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
