WP India Assessment Dept.

Hi there. Your bot left us a note about the 1.0 Editorial Team changes. We're not willing to make any changes until 2009 - but we'll be discussing and deciding which (if any) changes the entire WikiProject want to keep/implement. Can you please ensure articles are not assessed as C-class in the WP:INDIA banner in the meantime? Cheers - Ncmvocalist (talk) 11:00, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I'll check your banner and make sure it doesn't support C-Class so someone not in the know will not assess an article as such. I'd also suggest that you leave a note here as those are real people to talk to. I just delieverd a note on their request. I hope that helps! §hep¡Talk to me! 19:44, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Cheers :) I've left a note there now. Ncmvocalist (talk) 20:14, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It seems to still support C-class at the moment... Ncmvocalist (talk) 15:50, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I've been away. The template is full-protected but I'll put in an edit request. §hep¡Talk to me! 00:27, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging 18th century biographies for photos

Your bot has tagged a number of 18th century sporting biogs with a request for a photo. Apart from one case where a painting does exist (but is copyrighted and unavailable to WP), there are no images of these people in existence. Could you please untag the pages in question. Thanks. BlackJack | talk page 06:45, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Of course. I was just going by a request from another user. As soon as I can track down a reliable category that they all fit in. §hep¡Talk to me! 14:44, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They're all in category:English cricketers of the 18th century if that helps. BlackJack | talk page 21:06, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was gone the past few days, I'll remove the requests this week. §hep¡Talk to me! 22:18, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I only came across 4 pages with {{reqphoto|sportspeople}} on them? §hep¡Talk to me! 19:55, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A discussion

An important discussion on " Should WikiProjects get prior approval of other WikiProjects (Descendant or Related or any ) to tag articles that overlaps their scope ? " is open here . We welcome you to participate and give your valuable opinions. WP:HAU, Status, and you!

As you may know, the StatusBot responsible for maintaining the status of the Highly Active Users was taken offline. We now have a replacement in the Qui status system. This semi-automatic system will allow you to easily update your status page found at Special:Mypage/Status which the HAU page code is now designed to read from. If you are already using Qui (or a compatible system) - great! - no action is needed (other than remembering to update your status as necessary). If not, consider installing Qui. You can also manually update this status by changing the page text to online, offline, or busy. While it is not mandatory, the nature of HAU is that people are often seeking a quick answer from someone who is online and keeping our statuses up-to-date will assist with this. Note if you were previously using your /Status page as something other than a one-word status indicator, your HAU entry may have been set to "status=n" to correct display issues. Please clear this parameter if you change things to be "HAU compatible". Further questions can be raised at WT:HAU. This message was delivered by xenobot 22:59, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shepbot... is it a miracle worker?

Hey, Shep, hope this finds you well. I have a quick question if you don't mind. I'm expanding the WikiProject Judaism newsletter to cover two more WikiProjects: WikiProject Kabbalah and WikiProject Jewish History. So, I now have a rather extended list of users that need to be delivered to. My question is, if a user is listed twice will he or she receive the newsletter twice? Basically I'm wondering if I have to go through and merge the lists or if I can just leave them as is- check here to see what I'm talking about. Thanks! L'Aquatique[le faux nez] 04:47, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Of course it works miracles! lol I can certainly filter duplicates. §hep¡Talk to me! 12:49, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I figured so. grin Thanks! L'Aquatique[review] 20:33, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Stepshep

and thanks again for fixing my imperfect English (Osvobozené divadlo). I started here with hope, that I'll find people willing to cooperate. And it really works! I appreciate your help. Vejvančický (talk) 18:56, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No prob, I hope to be able to finish editing soon. Some things I wasn't sure how to convey properly so someone more experienced in editing might need to take a crack at it as well. §hep¡Talk to me! 19:13, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
