Swindle (magazine)
Swindle is a bi-monthly arts and culture publication, founded in 2004 by artists Shepard Fairey and Roger Gastman.
Each issue is a collaboration between Swindle's editorial staff and Shepard Fairey's Studio Number-One.
Content
The magazine has a strong focus on street art and has featured the likes of Banksy, Space Invader, Faile and Miss Van on its cover.
Since its inception, Swindle has featured interviews with counter-cultural celebrities such as Billy Idol, Debbie Harry, Henry Rollins and Grandmaster Flash.
Icons Issues
Each year, Swindle compiles an Icons issue, the first of which came out in 2006. This special annual edition of the magazine features 50 leading cultural and arts icons.

In 2006, Advertising Age picked SWINDLE's issue 8 as one of the "10 Magazine Covers We Loved."[1]
The L.A. Weekly listed SWINDLE's creators among the "L.A. People of 2006."[2]
