KWIC (99.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a classic rock format. Licensed to Topeka, Kansas, USA, the station is currently owned by Cumulus Media.

History

1992-1994 - KESC Temporary calls when they started on 99.3

1994-1996 - KWIC - Sat. Adult Contemporary/Talk "Quick 99.3"

1996-1999 - KWIC - Sat. Hot Adult Contemporary "Hot 99.3" Fed from ABC's Platinum Gold service.

1999-2004 - KWIC - Sat. 60s-70s Oldies "Oldies 99.3" KWIC picked up the satellite oldies format, although they added local hosts for morning drive and middays. 102.9 picked up a locally-based Top 40 format. But the oldies on 99.3 is faring much, much better.

2004-current - KWIC - Classic Hits "99.3 the Eagle" After a local country station received a new owner and after a format change from Cumulus, which cuts into two of their other stations, KDVV and KMAJ-FM.
