The North Texas Daily, also known as the NT Daily, is the student newspaper of the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, published Tuesday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters and weekly during the summer. The Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday papers are broadsheets. Starting in 2005, the Daily began publishing Scene, an arts and entertainment-focused tabloid, on Fridays during the fall and spring semesters. The decision to publish the Scene was in part financial after the newspaper underwent an audit.

During the summer, the paper publishes once a week, on Thursdays.

The multimedia Web site for the newspaper is http://www.ntdaily.com. It receives approximately 7,000 hits per day, according to College Publisher.

The newspaper's daily circulation is 10,000.

The University of North Texas' student newspaper began publishing in 1916 under the name "Campus Chat." In 1971, the newspaper changed its name to the "North Texas Daily." The newspaper celebrated its 90th anniversary in 2006.

The Daily and the Campus Chat, have earned three regional and six national Pacemaker awards[citation needed]. The newspaper has also earned All-American honors from the Associated Collegiate Press and College Media Advisers more than 85 times[citation needed]. The Daily has also earned awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Associated Press Managing Editors[citation needed].
