The Open Web Foundation is a collaborative effort to create specifications for the World Wide Web following the Open Source model, providing a lightweight framework to help communities deal with the legal requirements necessary to create successful specifications.

History

The Open Web Foundation was announced July 24th, 2008 at OSCON. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
