Jason Shawn Alexander (B. 1975) is a promising, internationally respected painter, illustrator, draftsman, and storyteller. An outsider artist, he got his start in Tennessee.

Noted for his raw and fervent style, Jason's paintings provoke the viewer. In his words, "I love mood. I love anything that’s emotional. Anything that when you look at it you can’t help but react. Whether it’s good or bad I just want some kind of emotional connection with my work and what people see" (Serwin, 2008).

Recognized by his peers, he is a Silver Medal Award recipient from the Society of Illustrators-Los Angeles as well as a nominee for two Eisner Awards. In addition to commissioned and original paintings, he has produced illustrations for Dark Horse Comics, Warner Brothers, DC Comics, Hasboro, White Wolf, Inc, and Dalmatian Press.

Recently, Jason became co-owner and contributing graphic artist at Skullsaw.com.

He currently resides and works in Los Angeles, California.

Draft articles

Hi, if you're working on an article to be included in the encyclopedia the best way to do this in is on a user sub-page. Click on User:Rosepuntil/Jason Shawn Alexander and cut-and-paste to there. Your user talkpage is the place where other editors leave messages for you. I've added a colon before the categories, so your talkpage doesn't show up in the article directories.
