Bransty is a suburb of Whitehaven in Cumbria, England. It is an average council estate. The centre of it, The Green, is a meeting place for children to play football and games, although can now often be overtook by chavs. It contains two forests, built around North Road and South View Road. Bransty School is on the top half of Bransty. It is a Primary school and specialises in helping deaf children, although deaf children only make up a small minority of the school. The headteacher is Mrs Coates.

Bransty Is located on coast front of the town with fantastic views what over look the irish sea and great views of scotland and the isle of man on clear days.

Bransty As a local Pub The Bransty legion club which is the home for the local Football sides Bransty Rangers who have age groups from open age down to under 8's . The football pitch is behing the legion cutting down the field. There are 7 fields next to the football pitch which are used for farming.
