The new page "Wynand Classen" replaces the older page "Wynaand Classen" Google still finds Wynaand Classen and this is the incorrectly spelled name of the famous Springbok Ruby captain referred to in the page.
Wynaand Classen was replaced with a re-direct tag. I also caused some havoc doing that because I made the re-direct tag while in one Firefox tab, while still creating the new (correctly spelled) tag in another Firefox tab.
In retrospect, I should have clicked "Move" but instead I created a new page, copied the text from the previous page. Google would have eventually figured it out.
I assure you it's not a vein or dubious autobiography - it's not about me. I make contributions to Wikipedia - and I never captained a springbok side. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bigmozzarella (talk • contribs) 14:09, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- The problem is not in Google figuring it out; the problem is in tracking the authorship for GFDL reasons. I'll delete the new one and move the old one. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:21, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- One 'a' or two in the last name? --Orange Mike | Talk 14:27, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
