Thomas Robert Ruud (born July 26, 1953 in Oliva, Minnesota) was a NFL football player. 6'3" tall, his average weight is cited as 223 lbs. He attended Nebraska University playing for the Cornhuskers. At the 1975 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills drafted Ruud in the first round. He also played with the Cincinnati Bengals. His sons are Barrett Ruud and Bo Ruud.
