Universe people or Cosmic people of light powers is a religious movement centered around Ivo A. Benda. Its belief system. is centered around belief in existence of extraterrestrial civilizations communicating with Ivo A. Benda since October 1997. According to Benda, those civilizations operate a fleet of spaceship orbiting and closely watching the Earth. The fleet is led by Ashtar Sheran. Benda and others recieve various instructions either by telepathic contact or direct personal contact.

Oponents describe Universe people as a cult. According to Benda, the movemnt has thousands to hundreds of thousands of sympathisants. Estimates by critical experts are in order of hundreds. Most of supporters live in the Czech Republic.
