Jason Jones (programmer)
Jason Jones co-founded, with Alex Seropian, the computer game company Bungie in 1991.[1]
Video game work
He took part in the creation of video games including Marathon and the highly acclaimed Halo series in which he was project lead.[2] He also lead the development team that created Halo 2.[3]
Jones is currently working on a new video game series.[4]
In the last level of Halo 3 (Halo) you can find an image of Jason Jones in boxers floating by a wall, by going down a secret hall in a cave and grenade jumping onto a platform.[citation needed]
Game creation process
During the creation of the Halo series, Jones would read war journals by authors such as John Kinkaid and Winston Churchill.[5]
Critical reaction
Jones was listed in Next Generation Magazines top 100 Developers in 2006 and 2007.[2][6]
