Fabrizio de Miranda (Naples, October 30 th 1926) it is an Italian bridges and structural engineer, and university teacher. He has introduced in Italy the composed steel-concrete structures especially in the field of the bridges. He has planned the first motorway viaducts to steel structure (Coretta, Macinaie, Poggio Palina) on the Highway of the Sun (A1 Highway) in Italy. He has participated with success in numerous National and International Design Competitions of bridges among which detach the first prize ex aequo to the International Competition for the Messina Bridge as member of the Group Lambertini. And' is among the Founders and then President in the period (1970-1973) of the Italian College of the Technicians of the steel (CTA). He has founded in 1968 a Consulting Engineering Firm specializing in the design of Bridges and Structures. On his projects different Great Works have been realized what the Road sopraelevata in Genoa, the Zarate Brazo Bridges in Argentina, the Indiano bridge to Florence (Italy) and the Rande Bridge in Spain.
