Bakemonogatari (化物語) is a Japanese light novel series, authored by Nisio Isin and illustrated by Vofan as a part of Kodansha Box.
Media
Novels
The series was first created by Nisio Isin as one of initial Kodansha Box titles. A total of two volumes have been released. Portions of the series were originally published in Mephisto.
A sequel to the series, titled Kizumonogatari (傷物語) was published in the first issue of Pandora, in February 2008.
Anime
An anime adaption was announced in April 2008.[1] The series will be directed by Akiyuki Shinbo and will be produced by Shaft.[2]
