Michelle Madrigal Gaspar, who is better known by her screen name Michelle Madrigal (born November 4, 1987 in Quezon City, Philippines) is a Filipina actress.Michelle is a alumnus of GMA's rival television station ABS-CBN Star Circle and also a member of ABS-CBN Star Magic. He is the third Star Circle alumni to be transferred to another network followed to Joseph Bitangcol.
Life and Career
Michelle was a former artist of ABS-CBN through the talent search Star Circle Quest. In 2007, Annabelle Rama took her under her wing as her manager. She is now a GMA Network artist along with her older sister Ehra Madrigal. She, her older sister Ehra, and her mother Karla Kalua are distant relatives of affluent Spanish-Visayan family, the Madrigal Family. Michelle and Ehra (a 2-time covergirl) were both covergirls for the September issue of FHM (2006 for Ehra and 2007 for Michelle). She considers Dyesebel as her biggest break on television where she plays a villainess Berbola.
In an interview with the Philippine Star Supreme, Michelle reveals her taste in men, saying:
“Magkaiba kami ng type ni Ehra eh. Gusto ni Ehra mga artsy, ragged-looking rocker/musician. Ako, gusto ko yung mga matatangkad, guwapo, macho, kalbo, Vin Diesel-type. So never kami nag-away because of a guy kasi type niya hindi ko gusto. Tulad ng ‘ano ba yan, ang chaka, ha!’ Tapos sasabihin niya, ‘eh yung sa ‘yo kaya!’" ("Ehra and I like different types of men. She likes artsy, ragged-looking rocker/musicians. I like tall, handsome, macho, bald, Vin Diesel-types. So we never fight because of a guy because she likes what I don't...")[1]
